I'll vote for keeping the little b@$t@rd$ at bay. I told the story in another thread of the joy of taking a 20 dose round of Doxycycline for a tick bite. I had very little problem with the drug until the last two doses. I took them with too little water, they stuck for just a few seconds in my esophagus and caused an esophageal ulcer. Upper endoscopy followed. Way too much fun for one human to have.

DEET, flame thrower, axle grease, whatever.
