I am looking to buy a new detector in the 200-300$ price range and can't decide between the garret 250 or the f2. For those of you who have used both machines or just know which one is the better pick I would love to know. I know most of the tnet community have been asked these kind of question many times but I simply can't decide after viewing both of their features. Any feedback will be appreciated. Thanks, Zach.

With all the new machines in the $200 to $400 range hitting the market. There is no way I would even consider an f2 or ace series. The F44 or F22 or even the new whites treasure master.

I would skip the F22 and go for the F44,it has manual ground balance, the 11 and 22 do not...

I was going to suggest the F44 but he defined a $200-$300 range and the two he mentioned didn't have GB.

Of course the LRP is in that price range and has GB.......:laughing7:

Found a nice silver chain with silver cross yesterday with my Ace 250. Lol
Found lots of gold and silver jewelry & thousands of coins with it. I guess there will always be people who will knock it, but I love mine. Been using it for about 10ish years. See no need to "upgrade".

I only knock it's doorbell tones and choice of color. It (Ace 350) was just as deep and seemed to have the same recovery speed as the ATPro I compared it to.

I actually like the yellow of the Ace 350. It doesn't get super hot in the Florida sun, and since it's already yellow, it won't turn yellow either :D The tones well ... agreed.
