I am looking at the Nokta Fors Gold or the XP Deus.

Most of my hunting is Victorian era homesites, though I have a feeling there is plenty of 1700s and possibly earlier stuff to be found. So anyway, trashy areas. Farm fields as well, so maybe less trash occasionally.

I know both machines are fast. I like how adjustable the Deus is, but the price of the Nokta with 3 coils, plus the supposed depth of the Nokta has me leaning that way. With that said the Deus is lighter and reportedly just as deep if not deeper in some cases.

I can't seem to find much in the area of a comparison between the two. I am wondering if anybody here has experience with both detectors who could help me out.

It sounds like you need a great relic machine that works well around iron.

I don't think you can go wrong either way. I just don't understand how they can call the Nokta a gold machine as it only runs at 15 kHz?
