I was detecting my parents property in Georgia today. They didn't build their home until the 70's, but the land has been occupied since the early 1800s. I dug up this round disc yesterday. I am excited about it (hoping its CIV), but don't know exactly what it is. It's a round disc about the size of a half dollar. Unfortunately, it looks like it got hit by a plow point at some point. It is reverse struck and very detailed. You can even see E Pluribus Unum in the banner. In the circle above the eagles head, it looks like a shank used to be there. Any ideas as to what exactly it is or time period would be appreciated. Thanks in advance! ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1439779337.824450.jpg
