I excited about the rest of the old golf course, I be hunting for all winter I have unlimited access and to find old silver wow what else is out there . The golf course was built in 1927 so more silver to be found.

Great find, wow! Try some gentle cleaning methods, if you do anything. Try a soft-bristled toothbrush and water. Or you could microwave hydrogen peroxide in a bowl for about 30 seconds, then drop the coin in and let it fizz for a few moments, then rinse the coin under cool water. Whatever method, just pat dry on paper towels or a terry cloth when done. I would avoid scraping or rubbing, or harsh chemicals, but that's just me :).

Very Cool! They have a 5 acre course here they just converted to a City park and I have found a few Silvers there...biggest problem is the silvers may be only 3-4" and clad can sometimes be 10" lol

Congrats on the Big Silver!

Golf courses are good if you can get permission to dig em. I use a 9 iron.
What with tees, gloves, golf balls, etc coming out of pockets, coins will be lost.
