Broke the cherry - 1st silver - 1940 walking liberty
Started detecting 6 months ago, but only this week did I start taking it "seriously"...research, permissions, etc. After a crap-ton of clad, six or seven wheats, and about 9 million pull tabs I dug this this morning:

great first man not too man ppl pull a walker for theyre first silver usually always a dime...mine was a 1940 quarter ill always remember my first! great job and keep it up...just a FYI...its not all walkers man lol dimes dimes dimes lol
thanks cuz. once I find a spot that holds a candle to your neck of woods you'll be the 2nd to know. Every place I've hunted so far with the exception of the one from which I pulled the half dollar seems like it's been hunted a hundred times...but then again there's utube videos of dudes pulling silver from NJ parks all the time...I'm probably just doing it wrong. Hopefully once I figure out the AT Pro i'll get a little deeper than the multitudes that have come b4

nice! my first silver was a 1907 Barber Dime. ill definitely never forget it. i haven't dug a walker yet but im sure its on its way keep it up and happy hunting
