I have an AT Pro that I love but I have never hunted with the strap on the arm cuff around my arm. After a couple of hours of hunting I find that my hand will fall asleep from the weight of the machine and I just wanted to see if anyone else had this problem and if so does using the strap on the cuff help. It just seems like it would get old real fast having to slide your arm in and out of the strap after every plug. Thanks

I have one on my GBII but never use it. It would be no help to me as the GBII is well balanced. Don't need one for my 1265X especially since I dig all signals when relic hunting. I would kill too much time for me.
I guess it's a preference thing, some like it and some don't.

I prefer the strap. It cuts down on the side-to-side play against my arm while I'm swinging.

I wear my detector like i wear my bra... Strapless.
And provocatively.

Wait, what?
