Couldn't help myself after getting my first coin and it being an 1827 large cent. Went back today pulled out this 1820 LC, a couple belt buckles I believe, one that looks to be silver plated with most of it still on. The other I'm not sure about I thought for sure it was a button when i pulled it out then saw it had the long part in back. Looks to be made of copper, but looks like a drawer handle or something. Fun day

Yea I Started artifact hunting earlier this spring then decided to get into detecting. Got my F70 about 2 months ago. I've Actually been detecting an area I got permission to artifact hunt on and noticed some interesting things around, looked at a lot of old maps and spent hours reading information on the area. It has certainly paid off. I haven't hit any public areas or beaches yet so no quarters/dimes/pennies/gold for me, but in time I will. Finding old stuff is more of my passion and I couldn't be happier with the finds so far. Thanks guys! :occasion14:
