There's a place in northern most California called the Lava Beds National Park. This picture is of Gillams camp on the south-west end of Tulelake. I will try to post a link about the war later....the Modoc War was famous for the amount of U.S. troops held at bay by a tiny number of Modoc Indians. I would LOVE to be able to detect in the park, unfettered!! unnamed (1).png

I love history, bronze age sights in Europe to Wester mining districts. South West Asia if it weren't full of modern war artifacts that can still detonate would be pretty cool too.

Or maybe the Aztec ruins. At least there's no curse and a path of death for their gold.
