Let's say $350.00 - $1,000.00 should cover it depending on the equipment you choose.
When you choose your equipment, keep the type of treasure you are looking for - and where you are trying to find it at the top of your mind. If you are looking for gold nuggets in the desert, your detector and digging tool will be vastly different than if you were searching a saltwater beach for gold and silver jewelry and coins. Just want to go to local parks, woods or old farm houses? Again, choose the right detector and digging equipment.
Find a dealer on this forum. Ask questions until you feel confident you know what you need to know.
