I am finding that the company started in around 1890 and the last catalog I find is 1915. I haven't found a knife yet. Somebody might have better luck.

I don't have a date range, but agree with U.B.: old pocket knives are always interesting. And I've even found them areas where the age-cutoff is distinctly 1840s/50s. Yours looks to be 1910/20s, because of the imprinted wording on there. JMHO.
meinecke & co sold druggist sundries and glassware around the time period that scubadector stated I bought the medical shot glass pictured at the local salvation army for 29 centa it is embossed with Meinecke & CoNew York on the bottom i'm thinking the knife was a give away ad piece for them
