HI welcome to tnet.if you are looking for quick spots try out some old cellar holes most can be seen from the road .especially this time of year . I try to write down the road or location when I see them . In the summer there harder to see. There is still a lot of good finds to be had .local beaches are good to .clad and jewelry do a little bit of research on the fires of 1947 .and most library 's have the old maps from 1872 most of so. Maine was mapped that yr. What town are you from .I'm in Lyman. Hope this helps. Mark T
