Hi; Yes it is a One Piece Button dating to 1820 or older. The One Piece button went out of style by 1820 ok. It has a Full Shankn on the back. Value : $1 ok. Nice find. PEACE:RONB

One piece buttons were used into the Civil war - I would date that one in the early 1800s- yes
