I have not posted findings in a week or so but decided to share this weeks tally. I did bring the gold bug down to the stream for an hour earlier this week but could not get any hits where I was so decided to pan for a little while and found a little gold. I should have spent more time panning but have been dying to learn more about finding coins with the detector so spent four hours this week trying my normal spot. I managed to find ten wheat pennies and my second mercury dime and my first barber dime which I was phsyched about especially since it was a very marginal reading and I almost did not dig it. I did go to a really old ball field this morning that I was told about and hit it for an hour and managed to find a dateless indian head.

mercury dime 1930
barber 1911
one button back reads goodyears 1851 are buttons like this ever worth anything?
Till next week good luck all
