I took my 3030 out for a spin in the back yard today - we live on the upper tier of an old drive-in theater so there's always something to be found if you look hard enough. My wife came home and she and our son came out into the yard for a few minutes with the dog. He loves being outside and was real interested in seeing what was going on, so she grabbed a bit of my extra gear and took some photos. I think I'll have a good hunting buddy in a couple of years!

Edit: Not sure why some of them are coming up rotated, but it'll have to do!

Cute kid.

Hand him a Snickers bar and a puppy, tell him it's from me.

Congrats on the newly acquired 3030 ! The guy I hunt with has one...and omg...it is ONE deep diving, silver sniffing machine! He usually shows off by hunting behind me and telling me to come back to see if I can hear a target I'd missed, it takes a second but usually I can pick the deep target up with my ATP by hitting it at different angles...one case in point: a beautiful token at 9-10 inches, clover shaped and read "Bay's Grocery" on the front and "good for one pint milk" on the back...That is definitely a machine that you will never have to upgrade, also...cute kid!...a family that plays together stays together...thx for sharing, GL & HH....ddf

Thanks - had the 3030 for awhile now though. The "new Minelabber" referred to was the kid!

Thought you said your wife brought your son and dog out for a few minutes. I only see the son. Cute, happy, and I bet his father is happy swinging in the background, too.
