So, I seen hundreds of different types of Metal Detectors all ranging under like $3,000.00 there really cool and all, Minelab makes great ones so does Garrett. Well once you start getting into the $4,000 its getting more rare, then so on. So I am wondering what is out there for people in the $5,000.000 exactly? I seen one called the Pinpointer Pro it's a image detector so you really find what is under the ground by images... so what else is there when your up in the high dollars like that? Thanks!

What are you trying to find? Land? Fresh water? Ocean?

Buyer beware! A LOT of those highest price "detectors" are scams. Anything with "imaging" is a scam for sure!

Some of the ground penetrating radar can give you shapes to a point, but, if you think you'll be able to tell a date on a coin, forget it! :laughing7: You're not likely to even tell it's a coin with any degree of certainty. They're mainly used for large items and voids. The CTX is a great machine for most areas of detecting. If you're going to dive deeper than 10ft or nugget hunt, I'd pick a different machine however.

Never used my GPR for coin hunting. But I use the right tools for the right job.

OP, try the Kellyco website. They have nearly everything, it will be able to answer questions you did not know you had yet.
