Yeah, I saw this..> GREAT PICTURE... I loved looking at this. This happens, when people lose something and it get stepped on. Those are fun ones. I've only had 2 rings look like that (women's rings) and they're always heartstoppers when they do! non-stone rings are a bit trickier, because many of the bottle tops I find have the exact same round look. Yours though.. that' DEFINITELY a ring!

What did the stones turn out to be? I would assume diamond, but I've not yet seen a picture of the stones from the top... All your posts, that I could find, were from the side...

I wonder if that is what is sometimes called a mothers ring, different birthstones or all the same stone?

Thank you for the chart and all the great info.

I've only been detecting for about a year, and have never found a gold ring because I have pretty much stuck to targets up around 75+ for coins. I have however found 4 silver rings and a silver necklace.

After reading all this, I guess I am going to dig 42-63. :)

Does anyone know what a gold coin will ring up as on an ATpro?

Depends on the gold coin. Size will effect the numbers, just like any other metal target.
