Hey all and happy new year!

For along time now, I've been wanting a Headphone system that had an external microphone and an A/B switch that allows me to toggle between the sounds of the detector or the microphone which allows me to hear what a friend might be saying, or what passer-bys might say.
a very high powere mic that I can hear words from a good distance or other surrounding noises.

So curious if anyone else would find this beneficial and maybe even seen something like this already out there?

Cheers all!

Very cool. Thanks for the idea Roque.
From the rsponses here, it seems like a mute point (:laughing7: ) to most.
But I think the idea holds some value and will continue to pursue it.

Cheers

You're welcome! Most of the time I hunt with the Garrett Treasuresound phones so I can hear the kids. The ones that cover the ear tend to block out all the "Dad! She's hitting me!". I like the Prostate sound, but it blocks a lot of the ambient, uhhh, "nature" sounds for sure.
