I live nearby Sunspot Scoops and was close to their shop today. Made a call and asked if I could come by and check out the scoops and maybe buy one. I got a great lesson on the various scoops and the difference between the 20 and 90 degree scoops, best way to empty them etc. After trying to figure out if I wanted a 720,790,920 or 990, I ending up buying a 990ix hybrid. Can't wait to test it out on the beach in our 30 degree weather this week.

I live in Port Huron and have visited Chuck a few times. I have two of his 990's with carbon fiber handles. I used to have his original Stealth but sold it.

A great scoop and a good investment. Now stay out of my water!!

Hey, Their business must be good because I also just bought a 990ix and waiting for delivery. I work the water a lot and every extra scoop of sand I have to take means loss time and there is a future good target that will never be detected.
