Of course no silver, because I'm the King of Clad. This is my first old looking key, IMG_1840.JPG but I don't think it's that old because it was only 3 inches deep pretty much where all the clad was. But that key made my day :) IMG_1838.JPG

Congrats on the clad haul and the neat key. That clad adds up and helps fund the hobby. Which coil were you using?

Nice key! It doesn't have to be deep to be old. I found an early 18th century Spanish Pistareen only about 4 inches down in dirt.

Found this link with very basic information: Value of Antique Skeleton Keys | Our Pastimes

And this one, with slightly more detail: https://www.justcollecting.com/miscellania/antique-keys

You can always browse eBay "sold" listings, too.

Edit: Found this item sold on eBay, looks a lot like your key: Fancy Key - Brass Polished Skeleton Antique

I just called it that jokingly to Carolina...it is a "Fancy" Brass Key. You found it! You da man. [emoji1360]

That's a cool key. I agree that it doesn't have to be deep to be old.
