Nokta Nokta Nokta..... truly excellent. tough as nails, super sensitive, simple, light, vibrate on or off noise on or off, lost signal beeps after 5 minutes if lost in the grass. spare cover , pouch , led light, good battery life...... no I am not an agent or turkish. And water proof... VERY waterproof.

Glad you have aprotector on it. Did you find any falsing because of the hole? I've always wondered what would happen if a full hole was worn in (I almost had holes on two of my devices... which is why I kept searching for and finally made the tip protectors).

Thanks for the tips. As for hole in the carrot, I didn't notice any issues with it. Seemed to work fine. I put a little water resistant Elmer's glue in the hole to keep it "water proof" and then put the tip protector on.

I don't sell them either, but own one and quite happy with it. The (two) protective covers and being waterproof - in themselves, was a selling point for me!
It has ten sensitivity levels and you can scan a smaller dia hole, without having to stick your fist in there too, to operate the probe.

Makro. Own two. Tough and works as advertised. Not crazy about control buttons location. "Live with it."

Use my trusty Garrett Pro Pointer, just got the Carrot this week so that will be my new primary. I'll keep the black one as a back up.

Where can these tip protectors be found? Since I just got the AT Pro Pointer, might as well start off protecting it from the beginning.

Right now I have a Kellyco Vulcan 360. I am looking to add either a TRX or Carrot when I have the money available.

As a backup? You not just happy with the Vulcan 360?
