There is a minimum advertised price all dealers must adhere to or they will lose their dealership.
This is on all products and why you see the exact same price on all detectors from everyone...advertised.
That MAP price us $599 on the 85th Anniversary edition F75 but if you contact most dealers, calling them is best, they can give you the real price which is usually $499 from most.

Many people confuse the f75 with the t2. The T2 is MSRP at $499, but as was pointed out, if you get a dealer on the phone, you'll likely be able to score a better price than MSRP. Even the LTD models have come down now. $699 for the T2 LTD and $799 for the F75 LTD. You could save a bit of money by buying a used F75 and sending it in for the full gamut of upgrades at $309.
