Sweet! Still trying to figure my detector out, also trying to work on my digging technique (so as not to leave a mess behind).

Did a second test run in my yard and found my first ring (silver) and a 1972 dime:

Off to a good start.

If you take a toothbrush and some baking soda and water to that ring, it'll look shiny and new again.

Congrats on your finds and welcome to TNet.

That was quick. Yesterday you posted your first find, a little car and now its silver and a coin and you haven’t left your yard yet. Your off to a great start. Your doing the right think working on learning your detector. Have fun.

Yep..great work! That's kinda what i've been doing with my garrett AT pro.
That is a really neat ring! It does look like road runner!
I've only found a couple wheat pennies and some clad in my yard ......so far...

Like I said in the other thread... I seem to be living on a trash dump. But yeah, I like to walk before I run. I'm going to hit up one of my parks tomorrow and see how I do. Weather has been pretty good and the ground is nice and soft.
