For just pure gold and silver you could try;

801 9th Street NW, Washington, DC 20220, USA
151 North Independence Mall East Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19106-1886, USA
320 West Colfax Avenue Denver, Colorado 80204-2693, USA

Fort Knox Bullion Depository
Fort Knox, Kentucky

But I think they really frown on Metal Detecting at all locations. ;)

Wasss Up Strike it Rich? Your posts are usually more together than this question and gave me the impression you knew what you were talking about before this.

Actually it is in the Philippines. I considered it too large of a project to pursue.

My point was there are metals, gemstones, and artifacts that are worth way more than gold.

I suppose I set my sights to low. :P

And now for something completely different- a serious lead. For any and all, in any state. More so you folks in the southern states, like Texas.

Texas women LOVE their jewelry, and Texas men LOVE to buy it for them. They all like to go floating the rivers in the summer.

Grab a tube, a mask and snorkel, and get to work on those exposed cracks in the bedrock.

If you really wanna get serious, go hookah!

A buddy of mine showed me a 3 lb coffee can he had half full in one summer from the Llano river. ;)
