Went for a quick 40 minute hunt to two local and heavily used volleyball courts and decided to take my Gamma 6000 for a spin. I'm not much of an inland hunter as i primarily stick to beach and the ocean, but living 15 miles away from the beach i cant always be there to enjoy it. I like using fast accurate ID machines at my local parks with good depth and EMI resilience, usually the Fors Core, Gamma 6000, or Delta are my choice. These volleyball courts are not hit very often but then again this is my second time in 4 years going there myself. Sand is about 10" deep ending in a harder more compressed pack, Sens was set at 92, GB 55, 4 tone Disc 30. Needless to say i was only able to cover one volleyball court in 40 minutes rushing due to rain rolling in. Most of these targets were 6 to 10" deep in the sand and the ring was only 2" deep on the grass sand edge. The Gamma never fails to impress me, this detector does not get fooled by bottlecaps is deep and pretty fast. Will hit the other court as soon as i can. As always make sure you guys make the place look as though you were never there and enjoy the hobby !

Two weeks ago I sold my Gamma 6000 to my brother, helping him to enter this journey. He loves it. If he keeps on bragging I might buy another.

Appreciate the solid reminder that volleyball courts are easy pickins. Been so concentrated on trying to find lost historic places that I've forgotten the simpler things.

Nice finds & wish you many more! .. Hit 'em more often!
