    AWESOME!! This is WWII It is a mothers pin worn to show She has 1 son in service thus the single star. I have seen these with as many as 5 stars, each star represents one enlisted son. They come in many varieties. Fun stuff.

    That's really nice. I assume that it is Sterling, because of how shiny it looks.
