I bought this detector at a estate sale and ham having trouble identifying the model. It is a tesoro bandido. But apparently not the b2umax. And not the plain Bandido because the deal on the side says Bandido u max serial number is 82961.
I want to learn to use it but first I need to know if it even works. The owners manual online for b2 umax list controls mine doesn't have. They online owners manual for the bandido also list a knob on the back panel that mine does not have.
Anyhow when I turn it on it just beeps repeatedly instead of a solid tone.
