Finally decided to step up from my bounty hunter and get something better suited for wet sand. I've seen a couple videos of them performing properly in wet sand and actually saw a guy using one in the wet sand at my normal stomping grounds. No headphones, no noise, no falsing. My normal beach is heavily mineralised and littered with trash and iron but also coins.
Its the only thing I can afford to buy anytime in the foreseeable future so why not.
Plus it folds up small enough to fit a backpack. I'm going to really love that when I go relic hunting in the mountains. So if it isn't the best beach detector I'll still have quite a few uses for it.
