In the middle of nowhere you find a stone and mud chimney. Outstanding place to search. This was reportedly an old civil war camp. So far I have located silver, buttons, three ringers and an old lock.

One of my favorite places to relic hunt. Find the front steps and it's not bad for coins either.

That's a sweet chimney in the woods. I have seen a few chimneys, however not nearly enough!

Nice to find cellar hole, or chimney, foundation outlines, or wall fragments in the middle of nowhere. The only downer in your pix is that it seems like you're going to be dealing with a lot of leaf/vegetation overgrowth there
