Hello all!

After detecting an old cellar hole site in rural NY (which I think it may be 1750s - 1800s), I came across this dome button. Now, I really know nothing about buttons, and I think I ought to learn something about them. Anyway, what would you say the date on this one is? It is marked "Kich Orang,"(?) and looks like brass to me.
