Junk ring or historical value?

I recently went metal detecting at Crescent Beach, FL, a few miles south of St. Augustine. About three feet from the cut left by hurricane Irma, I got a signal and pulled this ring out from about 10-12 inches deep. It is a tiny copper and turquoise ring, like a baby's ring. I've searched the usual search engines on the Internet, but I haven't found anything that quite compares. I know it has no monetary value, but can anyone advise on the time period it was made? Perhaps it has some historical value. In the pictures below, the first picture is what it looked like when I rinsed it off (those white crystal things stuck to it did not look like beach sand - it looked more like salt). In the remaining pictures, I have views of it from different angles after some light cleaning. Thanks for any help!

I agree. Looks like something very typical at what you'd find at grade school yards that date to only the 1950s-to-present.
