Very unnatural for it to behave like that.Possibly out of hybernation but when was the video made? I find even worse is actually BEFORE they go into hybernation. The late evenings in May/ June (southern hemisphere). I have to say though that Ive seen probably 10 times more snakes here in Africa than 25 years in Aus. Judging by the snakes strike height I dont think gators would have helped much. ha ha
