What are some things you all can't dig without? I bring my pin pointer, whites shovel, gator digging tool, pouch for trash, spray bottle for silver, soft brush, some tooth picks, small magnifier, and a small plastic box for the keeper stuff. Anything else that makes your time more enjoyable/ efficient?

I have a pinpointer, when I remember to bring it and gloves. That's it. I generally wait to get home to clean things up.

I carry spare batteries, soft brush, business cards, bug repellent wipes or hand warmers depending on season, magnifying glass and small leatherman tool.

It said in the pouch.:laughing7: Now in the truck, depending on the time of year I have a full size pick and smaller mattock to go through frozen ground, extra pair of shoes, lighter and fuel for a bonfire when a bunch of us go that one farm that's icy, a full size 1/4"and 1/2" screen, bee spray, a pair of boots, two sand scoops and basket for the beach, Full size shovel for the big cat's box, rock chisel, just because, cold chisel, just because, a five gallon bucket to haul all the finds home in, and sometimes at the beach it's half full of shells by the time we leave, a folding saw, a folding chair, a set of short handled pruning shears, a 10x loupe, and today I can proudly say I had the dirtiest truck on I-95 due to the DIRT inside it! And outside, too!

Business cards for permissions? Or like your day job?
The Business cards are for permissions or when someone approaches me to ask if I found anything, I have even used them with School Resource Officers and a deputy sheriff, it seems to me that with the card people take what I am doing a bit more seriously and not some kook bent on digging up and trashing a site. And like Smokey I keep shovels, pick with magnet, extra gloves, water, spare headphones, junk bucket and assorted Knick Knacks in my truck at all times.

Inside of my pouch I have a small fishing tackle box that I keep my good finds in so it's separated from the trash, my pin-pointer, gloves, and a probe/flat head screwdriver. My digger is carried on my belt via a separate holster. If I am hunting elsewhere I have a small backpack that I keep water, extra batteries, etc... in.
