    Date of an old button

    Hello everyone!

A good day of detecting turned up this old one-piece button. I am assuming it is quite old, as it was about 10 to 12 inches deep, and I could only pick it up on my pulse induction machine. Unfortunately, I do not know too much about this kind of button, so any info would be appreciated. It is about 1.5 centimeters in diameter (half an inch or so.) Also, the site I was searching was inhabited since the early 1700s.
