Ok so I’ve been stealthing around this forum long enough. I’m going to give it a shot and see if there are any serious women that MD that are looking for a hunting buddy. OR for that matter a guy that doesn’t mind hunting with a women. My home base is In SC however I travel a lot mostly the east coast. Just looking to make friends with like minded good people who enjoy the hobby of the hunt as well as the treasure.

It’s unfortunate that I have to repeat myself..... Like minded good people.... UM..... Anyone, male or female, who loves the hobby for the hobby and is respectful to others... and I must apparently have to add- especially in the presence of a woman probably old enough to be your mother.

So I will formally introduce myself since I don’t think I ever did.
I’ve been visiting without much commenting on this site for a good while. Got ooked on metal detecting many years ago and then discovered that I also like ARCHeaology. I’ve learned it is possible to mesh the two hobbies when both sides are willing. For those interested, that’s why I chose my username. I’ve volunteered as a field tech on some digs. Hard work but interesting.

I’m just trying to enjoy the hobby in the peaceful outdoors while looking for interesting historical METAL . Friend finding is pretty much a bonus. Not necessary, but nice. I’m ex military so the buddy system is so someone has your back and if your lucky you share some laughs. It’s always a good day to metal detect.

I am Woman and am in SE Ala. Also prior military, feel like I have never left, work contract aircraft repair. But I would rather be digging! i just started this hobby this past summer and have gotten, can I say, addicted. Welcome and thanks for your service!!
