Thanks for the comment! I don't have it with me to make another picture. It is a lid of some sort. I thought maybe from a pill box or stuff box.

Welcome from Delaware! I was going to say possibly a pocket watch lid, or back plate? Is it about 1 1/2" to 2" wide?

From what I can see it looks maybe oriental, I would say snuff lid. PS - when posting a picture , try putting something like a ruler or coin in the picture for size reference --:icon_thumleft:
