    Welcome to TNet.

That doesn’t look like any coin I am familiar with. I’m not sure what it is, but I don’t think it’s a coin. It’s too thick, has no markings and is made of lead.

    Good luck to you sir.

Silver war poker chip? Lead miniball smashed for gaming use in the camps? Does it make a clunky sound when dropped on a countertop? If so then lead. If higher clinking sound, then spit on some aluminum foil and wrap around item for 10 min, open and if smells like rotten eggs then silver, if not most likely lead or some other metal.

Yea I that’s why I put “coin like” It’s bugging me haha was thinking maybe colonial trades scale weight of something just wanted to see ideas before I put ideas in anyone’s heads also has ton of oxidation build up on it so could be adding to the thickness...

I've seen some old French coins that were nearly 1/4" thick, but they were bronze/copper. Doubt this is a coin.
