The resolution seems to suck in the rural areas. I can see a car parked in my parents house in a much bigger town, but you can barely see my house out in the boonies on google earth.

How do you do the overlays? Do you scan hard copies of plots ?

I can't stand the shytty resolution on Google Earth. I'd love to know if the subscription is better. If it is, I might pay it.

Then don't waste your money. All the subscription gets you is a few extra perks, no better pics.

I find the pics are not that bad in my area, and I use the subscription for the live gps link feeds for my chart plotter when fishing.
