Minelab Vanquish coming...

What do you all make of this new Minelab? CTX update? Doesn’t sound like a gold machine and with a media preview like this it’s not likely to be a low end machine.

Here's a new thought. Remember that crappy, blurry video uploaded weeks ago? The account was crated JUST for that video. It didnt make sense and seemed like a cheap attempt to grab views to build a channel. The the description mentioned the new detector was for RELICS, BEACH and TREASURE.

Then Minelab actually releases their own video, and low and behold it shows relics, beaches and treasure. Now that first video is gone. Obviously removed under threat from ML (along with lots of other people who downloaded and re-hosted the official vanquish video).

So I'm thinking there was some actual truth in that first vid. It was only some beeping and a blurry shot of the control head, but I bet it was a blurred edit of a real QUISH video.

Or it could just be taking legal counsel's advice in regards to IP enforcement.

I think this will be a cheaper beginners unit to compete with the new Nokta Simplex. ML does not need a newer $1000+ machine. They need an all purpose $300-$400 unit that is waterproof, saltwater friendly, and maybe Multi Freq

Same clamps and shaft as the Quest pro, just a little some thing I noticed since I have a Quest pro

AARC, one of my machines shows battery level...

smokeythecat, and one of mine does too - but, only with three bars indicating Full charge,
and never know how Low, with one bar, until too late - it flashes and shuts down the machine,
around 15min., which is enough warning, I guess...!

I just charge my machine before I go out and have never, ever lost the charge even on a very long day.
