My wife asked for a MD for Mother's Day. So, she was given a Garrett ACE 300 and we started around the yard and at a couple of local schools (where she teaches and one down the road from our house). So far we've found 13 cents, pull tabs, capacitors, a toy car and lots of wire, etc. It's great to get outside and work on our flexibility! She's been watching tons of youtube videos and is now an "expert"! :laughing7:

No questions yet, just sort of introducing myself.

I'm so happy to find this on Tapatalk! Now I can post photos! That's if we find anything worth taking a snap of!

Got a sister interested in metal detecting recently and I spent days reviewing detectors around $300-400 and the ACE 300 was one of my favorites in that price range! Good choice.
[ FYI, She ended up buying an AT Pro with her "change jar money".]

Nothing old here, but our first quarters! We just hunted around the edge of the schoolyard where my wife teaches. $1 day! At this rate we'll be able to "pay" for our equipment in about a million years, if you don't count batteries![emoji6] received_323596421864990.jpg
