Are Minelab Equinox 800 and Gold Monster 1000 'No motion' detectors?

Does the coil have to be moving over target to detect it? Are they selectable?

    Is there a 'pinpointing' mode?

    Thanks.

Equinox coils need to be moving. It does have a no-motion pinpointed mode.

The gold monster has to be moving as well, but it doesnt have a pinpoint mode.
