You gotta be a lot more specific than that. Make, model and age of detector you are needing worked on?

I’m looking for someone that can take the Whites TDI beach Hunter and either make the coil detachable so I can add a longer piece of wire or unwire the coil and machine and put a new wire between them making it longer

White's will do that for you.

But, they would supply you with a coil that has been made with a longer cable, and install it.

There are water tight unions. So that is one way to go.
To splice and add the extra length.

Problem is that is a touchy job.
Who ever does the job, "is married to it".

Let the factory do it.
They'll do it right and they will stand behind the work.

All the makers will supply a coil with a longer cable.
You just have to order it.

Your set up needs to be installed with the water tight hardware.

Let Whites do it.

No problem.

Your unit has to be tested under pressure to be certain it's water tight.
They have a good set up at the factory.

"Water machines should always be sent back to the factory for service"
