Ya it’s inside the house but it will detect everything else but this 1943 wheat, it’s like it’s invisible

Ok, mystery solved, I’m fairly new to the equinox. I had it set in park 1 default and wow does this machine cancel out iron or what, that’s one of the reasons I love it so much, hit the horseshoe and no longer invisible. That’s one more reason to always hunt in all metal, but one question still stands, why did this steel wheat cent ring up in the mid 20’s when it was in the ground?

It was 3 inches away from a copper wheat cent, can’t remember if I actually detected with the equinox or maybe inadvertently detected it with the carrot, thanks guys

Sounds like you picked up the copper, then happen to find the steel penny with the pointer maybe?

I don’t dig anything that reads iron on the Nox unless I’m relic hunting, so I’ll credit that steel cent find to the carrot.
