Hi all.
Soon the weathers going to warm up and the night time hunts will be starting. I have a headlamp , and a light that i could mount to light up just the coil but because i hip mount my unit , i have to stick my chin into my chest to see the screen with my headlamp or adjust then readjust it. No backlight. Most of my huntings on the beach, i prefer the dark untill i get a good signal. Then turn on the light. I was wishing my unit( Fisher CZ6a) had a backlight.
Well i had a $5 voucher from EBay so i got one of those cheap book lights. Ripped the clip off , put some Velcro on it and boom , instant lit screen.
Might try it out tonight. If its not to cold ! 20200213_122204.jpg 20200213_122211.jpg 20200213_122218.jpg
