While detecting in an area where a lot of people walk their dogs I got a nice coin signal right under an area of dog poop. Thinking that it was in the ground I flicked the poop away and swung again. The signal was totally gone. Thinking that the coin had been on the surface of the ground I broadened my search of the area. Again the signal appeared right under he dog poop. To make a long story short, the coin was unmistakenly embedded firmly in one of the turds. Evidently this dog had a taste for money. Lesson learned - scan the piles - you just might find something valuable[emoji90]

I have to ask - do you know it was a coin? Or are you just guessing?

Some things I wouldn't do(o) for a quarter. ;-)

Oh yea. It was a dime. I am thinking that some dogs may have a taste for jewelry.

I would not go there even if it were a gold coin.

Every dog turd has silver under it, the dogs smell silver and it makes them poop instantly...
