I've noticed that when I take my Simplex out (12 kHz), cats seem very curious about it and it seems like they almost want to play with it. I've had cats run from across a field and crawl out from under porches to investigate the coil before. Dogs, on the other hand, seem very wary of it. I've had multiple experiences where dogs off their leashes will run up and bark and growl at me/it, but don't seem to want to get too close. Has anyone else experienced this?

I guess it is a thing with cats for when i would go out to bring in my cat and could not find it. I would take my detector out in the yard and turn it on and start swinging and boom there came my cat all the time.

The nature of cats and dogs, is just that, the cats are curious, and dogs wary....
Dogs must hear the beeps and etc., from under your headphones or speaker
of your machine.
