Found in my backyard today

I was out in my backyard just to get outside from my pandemic isolation and I was surprised to find this button about 6in deep. I am guessing it is from WWl. Thought anyone?

Yup, WW1 or 2 era. I found one just like it and a civil war dragoon cuff button in the same yard. Did some research on the now vacant property and the previous owners grandfather served in WW1. I have a lot of respect for military families and what a generation they were!!!!
