Hi Treasure Group,

In an effort to prepare for doing things by the book concerning any potential wreck sites discovered, I would like to open a dialogue on such.
Although there are many examples and suggestions both online from FL's Dep of Archeology and various online forums regarding the standard procedure for the discovery of a potential wreck site, it would be helpful to see if there are any group members here that have had to go through the motions after discovering a site or artifact field.
In the event that you guys/gals have a "what to do if" roadmap (standard work and procedure for discovering a site/artifact) that can be provided either in this forum or via email doc, feel free to reach out direct as the intention is to ensure that any further exploration is done correctly and to also adhere to any/all legal regulations while doing so.

Welcome to Tnet! You might try your questions in the Shipwrecks section, or, maybe the Legal issues section. Good Luck!
