I also found this button years ago and I'm getting my old finds in order. I cannot find any buttons online that match it. I had another button that I thought was military and it turned out to be civilian. Any help identifying this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! 20210220_115831_001.jpg Back Crossed Rifles.jpg

Here's the back of the crossed rifle button. Thank you for your help.

It kinda looks like a WW1 Infantry button but I don't recognize the rear sling swivels being on any one I have seen so far. Lets see the back of the button.

I believe that’s a U.S. Army Infantry Branch Collar Disc worn by enlisted soldiers. Looks like the thumb screw is broken off the back. I’ll add a chart in a few minutes to narrow down the dates. My initial guess is pre WW1. If you post this on the “What’s It” section of the forum it will get identified in a matter of minutes....that’s where the real pros hang out.
