Nautilus DMC IIb/White's 6000 Di Pro
Go to the White's detectors web site:

http://hobby.us.whiteselectronics.com/

Type in your zipcode at the top and find your closest dealer.

Make them an offer of about $100 off.

Or ask if they have any used ones.
Used usually go for about $450-$500.

Remember, it's your money...spend it wisely. ;)

I'd ask TonyinCT or any of the other reputable dealers here if they have any ACE 250's or Tesoro machines in that price range laying around.

Yeah thats a good idea. Ace 250 in my opinion is about the best machine for the price out there. My huntin buddy uses a tesoro and he does pretty good. picks up waaay more deep nickles than me and i use a GTI 2500.

I've tried a new F-2. It beats an Ace 250 by leaps and bounds, especially in bad soil or on a high iron/salt beach.

Hi

I have an ace and its good only for "certain" ground conditions. It was a good deal, but there are much better deals out there. If you plan to hunt all over the place including the beach, I would get something with manual ground balance, like a Tesoro, or Whites..They make a couple of good low end machines.
